Autumn Tag 2018

by - Saturday, September 29, 2018

The time has finally come!!! When I first started my blog, I kicked my adventure off in October, and the Autumn tag was one of the first posts that I wrote! (You can find that post here, if you fancy hehe.) I found another Autumnal tag, on this blog, and that's where I've pulled the questions from. Let's get started!!

The smell of pumpkin guts or rotting leaves?
Hmmmm, I think I'll go with rotting leaves here. Pumpkin guts don't really smell that bad in my opinion, but they're not as exciting as other outdoorsy smells, like rotting leaves for instance :')

Sweet or salty pumpkin seeds?
Salty allllll the way. I love sunflower seeds all summer long as I watch and go to baseball games. I've only ever had them salty, so when I do pick up pumpkin seeds, I can't have them any other way. Sweet sounds kinda gross tbh.

Store bought or pumpkin patch pumpkins?
Pumpkin patch pumpkins any day. The whole fun is in the process! Going down with friends or family to pick out pumpkins of all sizes and shapes is so much more special than picking them up in your local grocery store.

Wool or knit sweaters?
Knits are and always will be my favvv. I like the whole look & feel more than I do with wool sweaters.

Halloween party or explore haunted places?
I'm not much for parties in the first place; I'm more of a small gatherings type of girl haha. I'd rather get scared out of my mind, run wildly about with friends, and make hilarious memories.

Apple pie or pumpkin pie?
I have to go with apple pie here. I used to love pumpkin pie when I was younger, but I think I've just grown a bit tired of it over the years. I prefer the sweet and sauce of apple pie.

Still, silent nights or rainy, windblown nights?
100% rainy, windy nights! Here in California, we rarely have stormy weather, and I find it so much more cosy to be wrapped up inside as you hear the rain beating against the roof and wind rustling round the house.

Witches or ghosts?
Ehhh, I don't bother much with the Halloween side of Autumn. I suppose witches as they can do more damage in stories and have more control as characters. There's only so much a poltergeist can do haha!

Raking leaves or climbing trees?
Climbing trees!!! Who finds raking fun, it's a chore?! :')

Ouija boards or ghost stories around a campfire?
I don't mess with ouija boards; I think all of those things are very real and that it's therefore best not to play around with them. Ghost stories (or any stories, for that matter) around a campfire is super fun & with s'mores on the side, you can't go wrong!!

October or November?
November! It's my birthday month; Veteran's Day weekend is usually when my family go up to a cabin for unplugged and memorable adventures; and Thanksgiving comes!!

Black cats or owls?
Black cats, I don't bother about the superstitions (I'm just a little 'stitious hehe). I used to like owls, but I find them quite creepy now.

Fireplace or candle light?
A fireplace, of course! Candles are the best, but you can't beat a roaring fire, the reflection bouncing off the walls, a cup of tea, and a good book on hand.

Monster movies or their classic novels?
Classic novels. The books are always better than their film adaptations!

Carve or paint pumpkins?
I've never actually tried carving, but I know I'd be rubbish at it. I do want to do it because it'd messy & fun. Painting isn't my strong suit, but I think I'd enjoy it more!

That's it for this very autumnal post :) I honestly just want to tag everyone who reads this, so let me know if you decide to answer these questions!!!! Let's spread the Autumnal joy hehe <3
